Episode 31 How to really get on top of your spending
Thursday Dec 14, 2023
Thursday Dec 14, 2023
Starting is the hardest part. Know that the sooner you build these foundations the closer you are to financial freedom. So grab your latest paycheck, write down your priorities, and make a plan.
Take time out and write down what matters to you. Then put these values in order of most importance. Be honest with yourself and asses for spending your money on really means for you. This could be your love for your home and being surrounded by art and indoor plants, so paying your rent or mortgage, home repairs and improvements, and even bills are important to you.

Episode 30 How to really get the best out of sales
Thursday Dec 14, 2023
Thursday Dec 14, 2023
So I was thinking about sales…as my swag is getting delivered from Black Friday and Cyber Monday
You may notice Black Friday sales have already ‘started’. In some cases, they have. But in other cases (most) these are just ways to get you to panic buy! (guilty) – a lot of retailers will further markdown their ‘Black Friday’ items to get rid of any stock that will be taking up space for new summer stock.
So are these retailers just clearing out the stuff they know won’t last another season or is a genuine bargin…and how can you tell?

There are a hundred things that can happen that force you to pivot your life. Episode 25 - How to make a big career leap
Friday Aug 18, 2023
Friday Aug 18, 2023
Talking career shifts, leaps, you name it. We all come to these crossroads in our lives and we often feel unmotivated, scared or even pressured to make changes. As I was researching the topic of career change, I spoke to a few women who made change. It was profoundly noted that this change is stressful and difficult in many ways. They’ve shifted from being comfortable and happy to daring greatly and getting out of their comfort zone, taking a risk to grow in attempt to feel accomplished and fulfilled. Jeff Bezos, who started Amazon, left his million dollar hedge fund job to start an online book store as he wanted to live a life with no regrets. Like Jeff, we can all take a look ahead at our 80 year old selves and make changes to live out our passions.
