S3E3 Manifesting VS Magical Thinking : Designing Your Dream Life.
Wednesday Oct 09, 2024
Wednesday Oct 09, 2024
In this episode, I dive deep into the intersection of money mindset and practical financial knowledge, emphasizing the importance of both in achieving financial success. As I embark on this solo journey, I share my thoughts on the prevalent discussions around money mindset and the often-overlooked practical aspects of managing finances.
I begin by highlighting the necessity of understanding how money works in order to master our mindset. It's not enough to rely solely on affirmations or positive thinking, we need to equip ourselves with practical knowledge to truly feel financially secure. I address the overwhelming presence of financial gurus and the narratives that often perpetuate feelings of inadequacy, particularly among women and marginalized groups.
Throughout the episode, I stress that many of us are conditioned to believe we are not good with money, which can lead to self-sabotage and imposter syndrome. I encourage listeners to take control of their financial narratives by examining their spending habits and aligning them with their true values. By conducting a "money makeover," we can identify unnecessary expenses and make conscious choices that empower us.
I also delve into the concept of manifesting and how it plays a crucial role in creating wealth. I share practical steps for setting clear intentions and visualizing our goals, while also addressing the fears and limiting beliefs that may hold us back. I emphasize the importance of trusting the process and letting go of the need to control the "how" and "when" of our financial journeys.
As I recount my personal experiences, including my journey to acquiring an investment property, I illustrate how visualization and gratitude can transform our relationship with money. I encourage listeners to embrace their fears, take action, and recognize that mistakes are part of the learning process.
In closing, I invite my audience to reflect on their fears and what they are grateful for, urging them to ponder these questions in the days to come. I promise to provide additional resources, including a blog post on the five steps to manifesting the life of their dreams.
Thank you for joining me on this enlightening exploration of money mindset and practical financial management. I can't wait to share our next exciting interview with you soon! Enjoy the journey!

In the final part of this episode, we continue our enlightening conversation with Sallyanne Hartnell, diving deeper into the intricacies of navigating life after divorce. We reflect on the emotional toll that separation can take, particularly when it comes to the loss of friendships and the support systems that often fracture during this challenging time. Sallyanne shares her insights on how to manage these relationships and the importance of surrounding oneself with a supportive network.
We also discuss the financial implications of divorce, particularly for those who may feel trapped due to a lack of resources. Sallyanne highlights the existence of organizations like Plenty and Just Fund, which provide lines of credit for legal and coaching services. This information is crucial for listeners who may feel they cannot afford the support they need to navigate their divorce effectively.
As we wrap up our discussion, Sallyanne emphasizes the importance of education and empowerment. She encourages listeners to take proactive steps in building their financial independence and understanding their worth. Hey Honeys!
I'm excited to share the latest episode of the Happy Money Journey podcast, where we continue our deep dive into the complexities of relationships and breakups with the amazing Sallyanne Hartnell. This is part 2 of our 3-part interview, and trust me you don't want to miss it.
In this part, Sallyanne shares some truly eye-opening insights. One of the most empowering messages is that our attachment styles aren't set in stone. We can heal, change, and grow, which is incredibly liberating. She also talks about the importance of creating meaningful rituals and moments with our kids, especially as single parents. It's not about the material things; it's about the connections we build.
Another key takeaway is the importance of centring ourselves in our decision-making processes. Sallyanne encourages us to envision where we want to be in the future and assess whether our current relationships can support that vision. It's all about making conscious choices that align with our true selves. I believe this episode is a must-listen for anyone navigating the ups and downs of relationships.
Tune in now to hear more from Sally-Ann and gain some valuable insights that could transform your journey.

S3E2 Clarity During Separation: Building your support network.
Thursday Sep 19, 2024
Thursday Sep 19, 2024
Hey everyone! I'm excited to share our latest episode where we dive deep into the complexities of navigating divorce and financial independence. Whether you're contemplating separation or have already taken that step, this episode is packed with valuable insights. Here are my top three takeaways that I believe everyone should consider:
Financial Visibility is Key: Before making any decisions about your lifestyle or expectations during a divorce, it's crucial to have a clear understanding of your financial situation. Knowing what's coming in, what's going out, and where your assets and debts lie can empower you to make informed choices. As our guest emphasized, shifting your mindset from scarcity to empowerment can help you regain control over your financial future. Remember, knowledge is power!
Build Your Support Team Wisely: If you find yourself in a situation where financial abuse has occurred or you're feeling overwhelmed, it's essential to surround yourself with the right people. Whether it's a forensic accountant, a family lawyer, or a supportive friend, choose your team based on trust and expertise. Our guest shared a great strategy: create a "pie chart" of your needs and identify who in your network can help you in those areas. Personal recommendations can be invaluable, so don’t hesitate to ask for guidance!
Focus on Your Future and Values: During the tumultuous times of separation, it’s easy to get caught up in anger and resentment. However, our guest highlighted the importance of focusing on your long-term vision and values. By clarifying what truly matters to you, you can make decisions that align with your goals rather than reacting out of hurt. This approach not only helps in navigating the divorce process but also sets the stage for healthier relationships in the future.
I hope you find these insights as enlightening as I did! and if you loved Sallyannes advice as much as I did and would like to get in contact with her click the link bellow to organise your free Intro Call. Let’s empower ourselves and each other to navigate these challenging times with confidence and clarity.

S2E29 Circular Fashion: How To Consciously Consume
Thursday Jul 25, 2024
Thursday Jul 25, 2024
Hey Honeys.
Do you ever feel like you can be doing more?
This week we talk about turning your trash into someone else’s treasure!
The idea of sustainable living is not new –focusing on recycling and reusing rather than constant manufacturing means we can make a small difference. By making small contributions like selling or donating items you no longer need, we actively participate in creating a more sustainable world.
Creating a circular economy is expanded on in Kate Raworth’s Doughnut Economics…an interesting read if you, like me, would like our economy to focus on sustainability over growth!
Shopping consciously and exploring second-hand options, not only can you save money but also contribute to reducing waste and promoting a circular economy. Whether it's through platforms like eBay, Marketplace, or local Facebook groups, your trash can truly be someone else's treasure.
Of course, we can’t talk about online selling without talking about scams…and how I had hundreds of people contacting me to see if I had PayID and if their brother could pick up…very elaborate!!
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on this episode. Stay tuned and as always enjoy the journey.
